Kate Bunch MS
Kate Bunch is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of New Mexico. Kate Graduated in 2013 with her Masters in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. She is a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S) and Endorsed Infant Mental Health provider (IMHE-III). Kate is a certified EMDR Consultant. Kate enjoys working with families to increase the positive experiences and skills of individuals to function as their best selves within relationships. Working with families and individuals who have experienced significant trauma is her focus. She treats families through play, Theraplay and EMDR. Her goal is to increase the attunement of individuals within relationships and strengthen their skills to cope with and move through stressful life experiences. Kate is the Owner and Clinical Director of Trauma Treatment Center. Her goals for the clinic include building a center where families and individuals can feel safe to engage in services to increase their mental health and general well-being, becoming more equipped for their futures. TTC address trauma through both mental health and biophysical health evidence based practices. By addressing both the mind and the body Kate hopes to support new research in how to best support the treatment of trauma. Kate is also the co-owner of the Mind Body Trauma Institute. MBTI works towards building awareness around the impacts of complex trauma and the importance of integrative care. Kate was the recipient of the 2019 George L. Kepper Outstanding Counselor of the Year award.
